가상 머신이 32비트 밖에 되지 않을 때(64비트 깔고 싶은 사람!?)

나는 가상머신에 64비트(bit) 리눅스를 깔고 싶지만,

목록, 옵션에 32bit만 존재하거나 설치하려 해도 되지 않는 경우...

방법은 있다 !!!

- VMware Player에서 리눅스 우분투 64bit를 설치시, 다음 에러메시지가 나온다.

- Oracle VM VirtualBox에서 리눅스 우분투 64bit를 설치시, 다음 에러메세지가 나온다.

- 가상화 기능(VT-x)이 꺼져있을 경우

- 또는 윈도우즈에 Hyper-V기능을 켜 있을 경우

1. VT-x 켜기

1) 호스트 컴퓨터(진짜 현실 컴퓨터)를 재부팅 하여서 BIOS SETUP에 들어간다.

2) 잘 보면 가상화 관련 옵션들이 있다. Enabled시키거나 가능하도록 옵션을 설정한다.

- VT-x

- Virtual 어쩌고저쩌고

3) 이런 것들을 Enabled로 설정하고 저장한 후 끈다.

4) 자 이제 가상 머신(Virtual Machine)을 켜보면 64비트가 가능해 진다. 있다!!!

2. 윈도우즈의 Hyper-V 끄기

1) Hyper-V를 체크 해제한다.

[제어판] - [프로그램 추가/삭제] - [Windows 기능 켜기/끄기] - [  ] Hyper-V 

(해제 적용시, 윈도우 업데이트가 발생할 수 있으며 시간이 걸릴 수 있다.)

2) 자 이제 가상 머신(Virtual Machine)을 켜보면 64비트가 가능해 진다. 있다!!!
